Hello and welcome to Camping4Life

I am Jon Ashmore, a British born Australian and part time dad of two divine monsters, Alfie and Edith. I have been camping all my life and love being in the big out doors.

Alfie and Edie were both camping by the time they were four months old, and some of our most memorable milestones have been celebrated in the spectacular natural wonderlands in South-East Queensland and beyond. We just love taking off in the Big Red Car on a camping adventure.

I am a former Scout who spent his youth camped in the New Forest of Hampshire, Dartmoor and the hills of Dorset. Those days of clod weather and small tents are long gone now and now we travel Aussie-style, with a Hilux and a Lifestyle camper trailer, cook over the fire and have been known to wash the kids in a bucket!

We love camping and we love life!
